A key UK public spending plan may be delayed until H2 2027, later than market
expectations for next spring or early summer, the Times reported, saying the
chancellor is considering holding the spending review in autumn 2027. The review
will allocate departmental budgets including the Ministry of Defence; defence is
especially contentious because the government must identify billions of pounds
to boost military capability.
