KCNA on June 6 carried a foreign ministry statement saying a recent landmine explosion in the inter-Korean Demilitarized Zone was a South Korean-manufactured stunt to smear N. Korea and shift blame. The statement called the incident an intolerable major provocation and accused the South Korean military of conspiring to portray N.
