ECB Governing Council member Dolenc said the bank’s current monetary policy
stance and interest-rate level give policymakers sufficient flexibility to
address a range of future shocks. He said future policy action will depend on
inflation expectations and the evolution of related risks. Speaking in
Ljubljana, Dolenc flagged geostrategic risks and elevated energy prices as key
uncertainties that are translating into persistent inflationary pressure.
