Commodity trader Toke Group agreed to buy seven tankers from New York-listed
SFL, the latest example of traders and state energy firms accelerating purchases
to bolster crude and refined-product shipping capacity after disruptions in the
Strait of Hormuz. SFL said the deal comprises four LR2 product tankers built
2014–2015 and three Suezmax tankers built 2019; the vessels will deliver over
the next six months.
