Hezbollah last month to assist Lebanese displaced by this year’s war with
Israel, the first large-scale aid to the group’s most-affected supporters since
the conflict began. They said intermediaries charged a 20% fee—about four times
normal—reflecting heightened US economic pressure and increasing difficulty for
Tehran in moving funds.
