Copper rose in Asian trade after ANZ Research flagged that strikes in Chile
could disrupt supply; if action continues, output at the Centinela mine could be
hit within two weeks. ANZ said the new supply risk compounds market concerns
about shortages that were already elevated by US pre-tariff stockpiling. ICE
data showed the LME three-month copper contract up 1.1% intraday at
$14,633.50/t.
