Gold ticked up on Thursday as markets weighed the odds of another Fed rate hike
this year. Fed minutes showed a majority of policymakers still expect at least
one more increase before year-end but did not press for immediate action at the
October meeting. Saxo Bank said price action reflects a continued tug-of-war:
macro sellers pressured by higher financing costs and a stronger dollar versus
buyers seeking hedges against rising debt and borrowing-cost risks.
