Dingdong Maicai said its owned brand You Dou Zhi signed a tripartite agreement
with Longwei Foods and Beidahuang Group’s Nenjiang Farm to jointly plant 50,000
mu of soybeans (≈3,333 ha), targeting about 10,000 tonnes of output. The
company’s Ningbo soy-products factory entered production at end-September; the
8,000 sq m plant has six production lines and a daily capacity of 120,000 boxes,
its largest upstream supply-chain investment since the brand’s founding.
