France's finance minister said investors' risk premia on French government bonds
have risen sharply in recent weeks but the bond market is operating normally and
does not require a 'hand of God' intervention. He said global markets are
repricing debt outlooks, inflation and monetary policy expectations, and that
policymakers must acknowledge the shift and respond appropriately. He added that
central banks must reassure markets they will fulfil their duties.
