Chen Jianxin, formerly Party Secretary and governor of the PBOC Jiangxi branch, has taken office as director of the PBOC Credit Management Bureau, succeeding Ren Yongmei. Chen holds a PhD in economics from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. Her prior posts include director of the PBOC Asset Division, deputy director of the Currency, Gold and Silver Bureau (Security Bureau), head of the PBOC Nanchang sub-branch, and, following the PBOC branch reform in August 2023, Party Secretary
