OpenAI, developer of ChatGPT, is set to lose its most senior Asia-Pacific public
policy executive after six months on the job, sources said. LinkedIn shows
Sanghyun Lee, based in Singapore, joined OpenAI in April after six years at
Google and led public policy and government relations for Australia, Japan,
South Korea, India and Southeast Asia, tasked with building and maintaining ties
with senior policymakers and regulators. The reason for his departure was not
disclosed.
