At the morning close, China's most-active futures contracts were mixed with
gains outnumbering losses: methanol up about 7%, coking coal up over 4%, LPG,
plastics and polypropylene up more than 3%, and coke and live hogs up over 2%.
Decliners included Shanghai tin and ethylene glycol (EG) down over 4%, asphalt
down more than 3%, container shipping Europe route down nearly 3%, uncoated
offset paper down over 2%, and urea down about 2%.
