European equities opened higher as bond yields fell and oil weakened. The Stoxx
Europe 600 gained about 0.8% with banks, software and energy‑intensive stocks
leading. The FTSE 100 rose 0.8% as miners rallied on firmer metals; Relx climbed
roughly 2.7%. Germany’s DAX was up 0.6%, led by SAP (+2.8%), but Deutsche
Telekom plunged about 7% after reports SpaceX is accelerating construction of a
mobile network. France’s CAC 40 added 0.8% with luxury names stronger while
Orange dropped about 2.6% and weighed on the index. Italy’s FTSE MIB rose 0.9%,
Spain’s IBEX 35 gained 0.1%, and the Netherlands’ AEX was up 0.6% with ASML down
roughly 0.9%.
