As of the 23:00 close, China's onshore futures main contracts were mixed. Methanol rose over 7%, LPG gained nearly 6%, benzene climbed more than 3% and fuel oil advanced around 3%. Plastics and polypropylene monthly averages were up over 2%; styrene (EB) rose nearly 2%. On the downside, ethylene glycol (EG), offset paper, iron ore and 20# rubber fell more than 1%; asphalt and pulp were down about 1%.

Financial Times reports SoftBank founder Masayoshi Son is seeking up to $100 bln from Gulf‑region investors to scale the group’s large‑scale AI investments. Son has held talks in recent weeks with senior Gulf contacts, including in the UAE. SoftBank may use the proceeds to set up a fund to acquire companies and retrofit their operations with AI.
