The State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) says it has stepped up guidance on overseas antitrust compliance. Since 2025 SAMR has held 13 training sessions covering more than 1,200 firms. On Sept 10 it launched an overseas antitrust compliance service platform aggregating laws, typical cases and enforcement updates across 135 jurisdictions. China has signed competition-cooperation documents with 39 jurisdictions to support a fairer regulatory environment for outbound firms.

MOFCOM said the second meeting of the China-EU trade and investment consultations mechanism reviewed the prior general guidance on price commitments in the electric-vehicle anti-subsidy case; the EU will actively推進 company price commitments and related review procedures. Both sides flagged substantial cooperation potential in new energy, artificial intelligence, services trade, the digital economy and green/low-carbon sectors and agreed to explore two-way investment cooperation. China reiterated it welcomes EU investment and will continue improving its business environment, and urged the EU to provide a fair, transparent and predictable operating environment and to safeguard the lawful rights of Chinese firms to bolster investment confidence in Europe.
