Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said he was unaware of US President Trump’s announcement that Russia and Ukraine had agreed an "energy ceasefire." Zelenskiy called the announcement a surprise, said Ukraine would accept such a ceasefire if Russia agreed, and urged Trump to inform Kyiv when any deal with Putin would take effect. Earlier Trump posted on social media saying the Russia-Ukraine conflict had entered an "energy ceasefire" effective immediately and that both sides had agreed.
