Axios reports U.S. special envoy for Middle East affairs Witkoff and Jared
Kushner have postponed a planned trip to Moscow, saying the visit will wait at
least until Ukraine and European partners are ready to agree on a new unified
proposal directed at Vladimir Putin. A Ukrainian official told Axios that during
Miami talks Witkoff and Kushner threatened to halt U.S. intelligence sharing if
Ukraine continued to ignore Trump’s demands. A U.S. official denied the threat,
saying the pair told Ukrainian counterparts the U.S. remains a strong partner
and provides ammunition and intelligence, and warned Ukraine against actions
that would harm U.S. consumer interests.
