The China Securities Investment Fund Association held a founding meeting for a
professional committee covering venture capital, private equity and M&A funds.
It said that since 2026 supportive measures from the central government,
relevant ministries and local authorities, alongside a stabilizing capital
market, have pushed industry assets under management to a record high above 16
trillion yuan. The association said it will work under CSRC leadership to
prioritize risk prevention, strengthen supervision, promote high‑quality
development and ease the fundraising–investment–management–exit cycle for equity
investment funds.
