Saudi-led coalition said its joint forces command conducted a targeted operation early Monday local time against Houthi military targets in Yemen. The coalition said strikes hit facilities and capabilities used to support military operations and sites used to store and manufacture weapons and drones. The operation was intended to degrade Houthi military capability and curb threats to regional security and international shipping. The coalition said it will continue to take all necessary measures to protect Saudi Arabia, regional security and international sea lanes, and urged the Houthis to cease threats to regional states, civilian targets and international shipping.
