South Korea will cultivate the services sector — highlighting rapid growth in
high-value areas such as K-content — to drive economic growth, support youth
employment and revive local economies, and will launch special measures to ease
polarization so all citizens can share in growth. The 11th round of the fuel
price cap is scheduled to take effect from 00:00 on Oct 17 local time; the
government will assess international oil prices and consumer burden and announce
related policy at 18:00 on Oct 16.
