Iraq’s oil ministry says exports have rebounded to about 2.7mln bpd despite shipping difficulties from the Strait of Hormuz, up from roughly 200k bpd in May last year. Most flows move via the southern route; northern exports are around 300k bpd. The ministry plans further increases via both southern and northern corridors. It said the Iraq–Turkey pipeline’s target export capacity is about 700k bpd; the pipeline’s design capacity is 1.5mln bpd and a bilateral agreement sets a minimum of 750k bpd.
