A new cold front will begin affecting China on Oct. 15, pushing temperatures in many northern areas to seasonal lows. The system will also bring widespread rain and snow. Cold outbreaks have been frequent since October, driving northern temperatures lower; a current system is affecting the Northeast and is producing the lowest readings since H2 this year—Harbin and Changchun highs around 10°C, and Harbin’s minimum is forecast to fall below 0°C tomorrow.
