US September seasonally adjusted core CPI MoM 0.3% (consensus 0.20%, prior 0.30%).

US core CPI rose 0.33% MoM in September, about 0.1 percentage point above most economists' expectations. Three-month annualized core CPI increased to 3.4% from 2.0% in August.

On the 13th, Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said Kyiv has submitted a new proposal for meetings and consultations to US representatives, proposing talks in the coming days. He reiterated Kyiv's support for a US-proposed energy-sector ceasefire but said any such arrangement must include Russian participation and be observed by Russia to take effect. Zelenskiy said Ukraine remains willing to engage in diplomatic dialogue to help de-escalate the situation.
