Analyst Chris Ansty said U.S. new-vehicle prices rose 0.3% MoM in September, the
largest monthly increase since end-2024, and 0.6% YoY, the biggest year-on-year
rise since last November. He said the move may reflect a new-model-year effect,
with 2027 models launching at higher prices.
