Oct 15 — Zhang Yue, deputy director of the futures supervision department at the
CSRC, told the 2026 Shanghai Derivatives Market Forum that China will enrich
futures product supply and refine futures-and-options listings to meet corporate
demand and national-strategy needs. She called for cultivating foundational
strategic contracts with strong market demand and economic impact; steadily
broadening opening for specific contracts; expanding the range of contracts QFI
can trade; deepening offshore authorization of settlement prices and
cross-border delivery cooperation; and optimizing international business rules
to attract more foreign institutions and boost the international competitiveness
and recognition of Shanghai prices.
