Denmark’s Justice Ministry said on the 14th it will extend temporary border
controls on the Danish side of its border with Germany by six months, moving the
expiry from Nov. 11 to May 11, 2027. The ministry cited a sustained severe
domestic security situation with ongoing threats of terrorism and sabotage; the
justice minister has notified the European Commission of the extension.
