On Oct 15 Shanghai Transport Commission deputy director Zhang Xin said the city
is accelerating development of three hubs for green shipping fuels:
international certification, trading and bunkering. China’s domestically
developed international certification system for green marine fuels has been
activated in Shanghai. Green methanol bunkering now covers the port’s main
operating waters and Shanghai has an integrated production–storage–bunkering
chain. LNG bunkering volumes at Shanghai port are among the world’s largest.
