MOFCOM spokesperson He Yadong said the China–EU understanding on hybrid-vehicle
exports is mutually beneficial and rests on three WTO-based principles:
full-process compliance, respect for facts and non-discrimination. He said the
consensus protects Chinese firms’ practical interests, prevents escalation of
trade friction and shows rule-based consultations can resolve disputes and
deepen mutually beneficial China–EU trade.
