Oct 15, 2026 — DeepSeek said a service outage from 08:11 to 13:04 Beijing time
on Oct. 15 made its API unavailable. The company will credit all API accounts
with a bonus equal to each account’s usage from Oct. 8–14, 2026; credits will be
applied automatically and API billing will draw from the credit balance first.
DeepSeek said it has launched a full stability review and will remove
single-point dependencies to prevent recurrence.
