Hong Kong stocks opened lower, slipped further and partially recovered in the afternoon; the Hang Seng Index closed down 1.03% and the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 2.72%. New listing Transsion Holdings (02636.HK) fell over 5% on its first trading day.
