On Oct. 14 the U.S. International Trade Commission voted to issue affirmative final determinations that imports of crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells from India, Indonesia and Laos — whether or not assembled into modules — have caused material injury to the U.S. industry. Based on the ITC’s affirmative final determinations, the U.S. Commerce Department will issue anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders on the affected products.
