Oct 15 — At its half-year results meeting Xinjieneng said China’s power semiconductor industry is undergoing a structural shift driven by AI compute and new-energy demand and is entering a new cycle of simultaneous volume and price gains. Inventories are being rebalanced and the sector is moving into a higher‑quality recovery. Demand is concentrated in AI compute infrastructure and new-energy vehicles. Domestic suppliers are winning share on cost‑effectiveness, faster response and local service; customers are actively adopting local solutions and scaling volumes, accelerating domestic substitution. Xinjieneng is expanding foundry/outsourced capacity and ramping its in‑house packaging plant to secure deliveries while improving profitability.
