President Trump’s newly formed AI task force held its first meeting on Thursday,
agreeing to address cybersecurity, biosafety and risks around model control and
accountability, the White House said in meeting minutes. The body, named
SuperIntelligenceForce, will commission the President’s Council of Advisors on
Science and Technology (PCAST) to prepare a risk assessment and will design
protocols requiring AI labs to provide early warnings and systematic
notifications to government on security vulnerabilities, hacks, model jailbreaks
and related issues.
