Shipping executives say demand for low‑carbon marine fuels has softened this year as uncertainty over the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) emissions framework persists and some firms opt to use carbon credits. IMO member states are due to meet before early November to discuss formally adopting a net‑zero framework to guide the industry to zero carbon by 2050. In Singapore, the world’s largest bunkering hub, government data show Jan–Sep sales of marine biofuels totaled about 603,000 tonnes, down 47% versus the same period in 2025. Jens Maul Jorgensen, a director at dry‑bulk owner Oldendorff Shipping, said: “I do not expect biofuel demand to grow significantly before the IMO makes its decision.”

大宗商品分析師Jack Prandelli於北京時間10月15日援引彭博觀點數據指出，儘管伊朗持續襲擊油輪，反映海灣原油供應緊張程度的阿曼—迪拜原油價差已大幅收窄。該價差衡量在霍爾木茲海峽外裝船的阿曼原油相對迪拜原油的溢價，3月海峽關閉時一度升至每桶63美元，9月沙特東西輸油管道遭襲後達到33美元，目前已降至約7美元。Prandelli認爲，市場正逐步適應戰時運輸障礙。沙特已恢復通過東西管道向紅海出口原油，油輪仍通過霍爾木茲海峽實施穿梭轉運，而中國9月原油進口量同比下降21.5%，進一步緩解供應壓力。不過，近期富查伊拉附近已有部分超大型油輪掉頭，若這一現象擴大，相關價差可能再次急升。
