CSRC Chair Wu Qing said at the opening of the 2026 Financial Street Forum on Oct 19 that regulators will orderly expand high‑level market opening and further ease cross‑border financing and investment. Policy steps cited include raising the attractiveness and predictability of opening measures, improving QFII operational convenience, supporting domestic‑foreign institutional cooperation to launch more China‑asset indices and products, and encouraging foreign firms to leverage parent‑group expertise to broaden product suites and participate in innovative businesses to attract more foreign investment and operations in China.
