Qatar’s deputy prime minister and minister of state for defense affairs Abdulrahman Al‑Thani said on the 19th that sustainable peace requires broad regional dialogue between GCC states and Iran, with Pakistan and Turkey participating and coordination with international allies. He said talks should be built on trust and non‑aggression agreements and respond to the concerns of both Iran and the GCC. Strong economic cooperation with Iran, he added, could serve as a bridge to prevent future regional conflict.
