Southbound flows net sold 1.723 bln yuan today. Via Shanghai Stock Connect, SMIC and Xiaomi Group were net sold HKD 387m and HKD 207m respectively; Tencent Holdings was the top net buy at HKD 603m. Via Shenzhen Stock Connect, Lenovo Group and SMIC were net sold HKD 728m and HKD 185m respectively; Tencent Holdings was the top net buy at HKD 544m.

CHINA'S LI met Belarusian Prime Minister Turchin on Oct. 19 on the sidelines of the SCO leaders' council in Dushanbe. Beijing said it will deepen strategic alignment with Minsk, expand use of bilateral government cooperation mechanisms, and fully leverage the China‑Belarus services and investment agreement. The sides plan a China‑Belarus Industrial Cooperation Year and to deepen cooperation in autos, the digital economy, artificial intelligence and the green economy. Beijing said it will import more quality Belarusian products and support Chinese firms investing in Belarus, while urging Minsk to provide an open, transparent and predictable business environment. The two also agreed to step up coordination in regional and international forums, including the SCO and BRICS, to promote multilateralism and free trade and defend common interests.

Oct 20 — IATA and the Shanghai municipal government signed a memorandum of understanding at the North Bund International Aviation Forum to deepen cooperation on aviation connectivity, innovation and industry development and to support construction of the Shanghai international aviation hub. The MoU commits both parties to promote adoption of digital industry standards — ONE Record, ONE ID, NDC and ONE Order — to accelerate aviation digitalisation, deepen cooperation on aviation legal services and education, and continue support for the Shanghai International Aviation Arbitration Institute.
