China's General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of
the State Council issued guidance to deepen integration of technological and
industrial innovation. It directs use of advanced technologies to upgrade
traditional industries, carry out major manufacturing technology overhauls and
large-scale equipment renewal, accelerate industrial internet innovation, and
deepen digital-economy and real-economy integration to drive manufacturing
toward intelligent, green and integrated development. The guidance calls for
stronger R&D in seed breeding and agricultural machinery and faster deployment
of agricultural science results, construction of a full industry‑chain
technology service system, expansion of high-quality tech services, and
comprehensive implementation of an AI+ initiative to extend AI capabilities
across sectors.
