China’s General Offices of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued guidance to deepen the integration of technology and industry. It calls for accelerating the growth of tech firms, refining support mechanisms for leading tech companies and high‑tech enterprises, and improving nurture programs for tech SMEs, specialized “little‑giant” firms and manufacturing single‑product champions. The guidance also seeks faster development of tech startups via stronger incubation and financing support, and directs deeper collaboration across large, medium and small firms and along supply chains by guiding large enterprises to open R&D platforms, application scenarios and supply chains to SMEs and to pilot and prioritise first use of SME innovation products.
