EU oil coordination group says diesel and jet-fuel supplies remain tight.

ARAMCO CEO Amin Nasser said Saudi Arabia is working to raise capacity of its east–west oil pipeline network to as much as 10 mln barrels per day to guard against Middle East supply disruptions. The east–west pipeline links eastern producing provinces to the Red Sea Yanbu export terminal and currently transports about 7 mln bpd, roughly 2 mln bpd of which feeds domestic refineries. ARAMCO is conducting engineering studies to open additional export routes and reduce reliance on major shipping lanes; it currently exports crude via the Strait of Hormuz, Bab al-Mandeb and the Sidi Kerir terminal on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast.
