Politico reported Elon Musk donated an additional $76 mln to the America PAC super PAC in the first two weeks of October, taking his election-cycle political contributions above $442 mln. America PAC has spent tens of millions on digital ads, mail and SMS targeting competitive House and Senate races. Politico says Musk is the largest individual donor this cycle; his political giving this year far exceeds the roughly $290 mln he spent earlier in 2024, and no individual has donated this much in modern U.S. political history.
