On Oct. 23 China published its position on strengthening outer space governance,
calling for respect for states' rights to fair, non‑discriminatory access to and
use of outer space, opposing use of outer space to carry out actions that harm
other states' sovereignty, security or development interests, and affirming
respect for the sovereignty, security and legitimate rights of states' space
assets, activities and personnel.
