Oct 23 — China published its position on strengthening outer space governance,
endorsing innovation in space R&D and technology applications, including orbital
maintenance, deep‑space exploration and near‑Earth asteroid defense. It calls
for bolstering academic exchange, talent development and infrastructure to
better serve economic development, and encourages research institutes,
companies, universities and social organizations to participate broadly in
outer‑space exploration and innovation under national oversight and in
compliance with law.
