Cuba Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernández de Cossío wrote on social media on
the evening of the 23rd that the CIA has a "documented dirty history." He cited
past U.S. Senate special committee investigations that exposed alleged CIA
involvement in assassinations, kidnappings, torture, coups, the overthrow of
lawful governments, and the planning or execution of criminal and terrorist
acts. De Cossío called the CIA a "state terrorist organization" and said that
conclusion is drawn from publicly available information.
