China Merchants Securities macro chief analyst Zhang Jingjing says China’s
A-share market is likely to extend the Oct. 23 rebound. She cites continued
strong exports since Q3, active policy measures supporting domestic demand, a
low probability of a Fed rate hike in October that could ease global liquidity
temporarily, and regulatory steps plus expectations of long-term fund inflows.
Zhang expects Q4 to be a typical window for insurers and other long-term capital
to position for next year, with incremental inflows likely to lift low-valuation
names with earnings cushions and growth prospects.
