Bulgaria held a presidential election on the 25th with 27 candidates, including incumbent Yotova. Voting ran 07:00–20:00 local time at more than 9,300 domestic and over 600 overseas polling stations; about 6.59 million voters were eligible. Preliminary exit polls are expected after polls close; the Central Election Commission says official results will be published no later than the evening of the 27th.

Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said Ukraine must decide its own security guarantees and will not accept Russia dictating terms; proposals to cap the size of Ukrainian forces or to require Ukrainian neutrality are off the table. He said territorial issues are a red line that can only be negotiated at leaders’ level, and that the United States has long proposed territorial exchanges—referred to as "land swaps"—though other proposals remain open for discussion.
