A US source and an Israeli source say Prime Minister Netanyahu, fighting for political survival ahead of Tuesday's election, has pressed US President Trump for increased public support. The US source said Netanyahu spoke to Trump twice in the past three days and asked him to reinforce last week’s support post on Truth Social, even drafting suggested wording. The Israeli source said Netanyahu proposed Trump call Israeli journalists to express further backing.
