At its third-quarter 2026 results briefing, Xinji Energy said negotiations on
2027 long-term contract power prices are proceeding as planned. The company
cited tighter power supply‑demand margins, improvements in the capacity pricing
mechanism and more rational sales‑side pricing as boosting market expectations
for a 2027 contract price recovery. To smooth short‑term spot price volatility
it will rely on coal–power integration, high coverage of long‑term coal
contracts, stable capacity‑price income and flexible power trading.
