China's National Joint Drug Procurement Office on Oct. 26 revoked the national
procurement winning status for letrozole tablets produced by Eugia Pharma
Specialities Limited and gadoterate meglumine injection produced by JSC Farmak.
The office said both applicants recently reported they could not continue to
supply the products and, after supervisory interviews, still failed to meet
medical institutions' demand. Eugia and its applicant Hangzhou Ketu Supply Chain
Co. were placed on the violations list and barred from participating in national
drug procurement for four years; JSC Farmak and its applicant Shanghai Liyi
Pharmaceutical Technology Co. were likewise listed and barred for two years.
