At the morning close, China's main futures contracts were mostly lower. Container shipping to Europe slid nearly 5%. Styrene (EB), palm oil and benzene fell over 3%; caustic soda, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), paraxylene (PX) and soybean oil were down more than 2%. On the upside, lithium carbonate gained over 3%; asphalt and live hogs rose more than 2%; polysilicon was up nearly 2%; LPG and Shanghai lead advanced over 1%; polypropylene and soda ash rose about 1%.
